Welcome to Wolverhampton Rhinos Wheelchair Basketball Club
Wolverhampton Rhinos Wheelchair Basketball Club was set up in November 1999, the club started in a local special school called Penn Hall which catered for children aged 3 yrs to 19 yrs with a physical disability. The team foundered by Ian Thompson (Penn Halls former PE Teacher) and Alan Caron (PE Assistant) along with a number of pupils
Over the years Wolverhampton have competed and moved up the ranks of the Great Britain Wheelchair Basketball Association form Division 4 (know the Development League) to the National North Division One This season see the club grow with the development of the Women’s League and Junior League and the highest honour of playing in the RGK Super League with the likes of Oldham Owls, MK Aces and Sheffield Steelers
