Rhinos Community Programme works in all areas of country, promoting wheelchair sport both in SEN and Main Stream schools, colleges and University, working to increase the awareness of disability sport to all.
All Rhinos community sports programme staff are fully qualified with wheelchair sports UKCC level sports awards, CRB checked and run session at a very high coaching standard. The programme is run by AC coaching & Sports development limited one of the Official sponsors of the charity.

LATEST - 'Get Set, Go Free' - Nestle campaign
Rhinos has signed up to the Nestle “get set, go free” campaign.
The campaign will be promoted on Nestle promotional packs in shops up and down the country and the following website
www.getsetgofree.com is now live and contains clubs details aimed at attracting new players to wheelchair sport.

All clubs will receive information on the campaign in the very near future, and the initiative is set to run from 1 June 2010 to 31 July 2011.
The high profile campaign will be a great way to promote wheelchair sport and hopefully lead to an increase in participants.
Play Wheelchair Basketball Programme
Working with local School sports Coordinators Partnerships in the area we offer the session weekly, the session are open to all with and without a disability and run in term time only.

RGK Sporting Academy
Rhinos run a number of sports academy’s with help from official partners TCAT College, Pendeford Business & Enterprise College, the academy is open to all from beginners and recreational players. Wishing to learn about disability sport and gaining a qualified in the sport they compete in.
Sports running at present are Wheelchair Basketball & Wheelchair Rugby; Athletes will compete in national league competition and will be asked to gain qualifications in coaching badges, or officiating from the NGB of the sport.

Short Breaks Programme
Rhinos Community Programme have been supported by the Short Breaks Programme funding in Wolverhampton & Shropshire, with is funding we have been able to open up the community programme within term time and holidays.
Sessions will be run over the summer holiday, half term and Easter holidays, if you are a Shropshire council parent you will need to down load this for to registered and book on the sessions:----------

Can you help us with donation for your favourite sport, if can only donate £2.00 this will go toward the grass roots of the sport, help buy a new sports wheelchair of one of the juniors, help pay for the team to play in a European competition.
